archivissima 2025
While attending the Graphic Design with a Focus on New Media Master's at IED Florence, I was part of a selected team of four students chosen by our course coordinator to develop a motion video for the Archivio Storico di Firenze. The project requested by the Historical Archive of Florence for Archivissima 2025, a national archive festival held in Turin.
We were asked to create a motion video interpreting the theme “Archive for the Future”. We developed a concept centred around social intelligence, exploring how collective memory shapes the future. Together, we selected key data from the archive’s extensive collection, structured the narrative into four main sections (Intro, Data & Facts, Concept, and Conclusion) and refined these into smaller sequences to ensure a clear, engaging flow.
When needed, we created visual assets in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. The video was created in After Effects. Beyond contributing to concept development and asset creation, I was responsible for assembling the final video, ensuring consistent pacing, smooth transitions, and cohesive visual rhythm across the entire piece.
