Polimera is a fictional city-state that changes language every ten years. For the Art Direction exam during my Master’s Diploma at IED each of us students were given a different fictional special city and were asked to design an A5 sheet of postal stamps, a flag, and the banknotes for that city.
In Polimera, language changes every ten years, so I devised a universal alphabet designed to transcend time. Numbers' symbols are based on my hand gestures, while words and concepts are expressed through symbols inspired by Japanese Kanji.
The city’s history diverges from ours: people are depicted with triangular faces, and the preferred media for design remains handcrafted, reflecting the ever-shifting nature of its culture. Blue dominates the visual landscape, as new languages are believed to descend from the sky.
Every decade, the Day of the First Word marks the birth of a new language, placing young citizens at the heart of cultural rebirth.
I loved creating a whole new alphabet for this project, thus finding a visual language that could stay constant in an ever-evolving society.

As for the first assignment for the class of Graphic Design during my Master’s Diploma, we were asked to create a poster about one of Olivetti’s typewriters, among which I chose Studio 46 (1974) and were asked to work on Photoshop. There were no limitations in terms of graphics, typography, layouts, etc. So, in my case, I played around with textures and text distortions.

I was contacted by the Comprehensive Institute Karol Wojtyla of Palestrina (RM) to realise a memorial book to celebrate the 50 years anniversary of the full time in their primary schools.
I had the pleasure to work by meeting every week the same delightful teachers from all over the primary schools the institute contains.
What first were appointments to review an editorial work became appointments of joyful chats in the company of people who embody the history of these schools.

How to drive in Rome is an ironic zine that denounces, sarcastically, the way Roman citizens normally drive. The zine is composed of 8 pages obtained by folding a A3, that displays a poster when the zine is completely open and not closed in a booklet.

For Michela & Francesco's Harry-Potter-Themed Wedding I designed wedding invitations, ceremony books and labels for the wedding favours.
As Harry Potter books and movies suggest, the graphics are those of the 1800s and so the style for the Wedding Stationery was established accordingly.

Ricordi di Ventotene e S.Stefano (in English: Memories of Ventotene and S.Stefano) is the rebranding of the existing Marine Protected Area (MPA, for short) of Ventotene and S.Stefano islands. The MPA aims to promote environmental education about the delicate balance of marine eco-systems, the relevance of our impact on them, and methods to safeguard the MPA's natural treasures, in order to protect the environmental heritage for future generations and to ensure that they too know how to pass on this natural legacy.

FLIPP is a fictional Book Publishing House, with affiliated bookstores, that focuses on the distribution of books rooted in Western and Eastern global culture, aiming to reintroduce them in a different way and have them appreciated by new generations, while also by their parents.
TRAK is a publishing series, a collection of classics from the adventure genre. What they have in common is the fact that they have been translated into films over the years. The name of the book series follows the same onomatopoeic principle as the publishing house's name.
I hand-binded the book I was required to print after putting the original script under the right orthotypographical rules.

Dead Plants is a tabloid-size (279x432 mm) zine of 14 pages, a typographical experiment that depicts the beauty of death, with dead flowers illustrations. The zine contains quotes of poems about death in English and Italian. There's also a typographic experiment using the text from Eveline, a short story inside Dubliners, by James Joyce. Indeed, Dubliners's characters are paralised by money problems, family responsibilities and other social pressures, so they remain imprisoned in a miserable life. At the end, in the attempt to cheer up the reader, if need to, there are some dark-humoured jokes. The back cover contains a quote in German from Die Zürauer Aphorismen by Kafka, a book of metaphysical aphorisms and reflections. The quote talks about how death frees humans from their life, which is a prison.

Scratch&Lose is a personal project that denounces, in a sarcastic way, the sky-rocketing of gas prices in Italy, one of the many countries which depend on Russian petrol supplies instead of investing in sustainable, self-generated green energy sources like nuclear power.

The multi-dimensional pyramid is a 3d experiment for which 3 scenes were produced, each of which representing a different setting and mood.

I decided to recreate a pair of non-existent headphones, experimenting with the tools provided by Blender, and placing my then logo on them.

For Q Club I produced a flyer for a comedy event.

For Make Tape I designed an informative brochure about its programme. Make Tape is a intensive camp that helps active duty Soldiers, Marines, Airmen, and Sailors make the strict weight standards of the US Military.
